AudioReview vs Highnote
A simpler way to get audio approved
Highnote is a great tool. If you need video replies and a native iOS app, it might be the right choice. But if you need an approval workflow and want to know exactly who listened and how far they got— AudioReview does that, and it's free to start.
Where AudioReview is different
A real approval status
Every file in AudioReview has a status: In Review, Needs Changes, or Approved. When your client is happy, it's official — tied to a specific version, timestamped. Highnote doesn't have an approval status. You're still relying on “sounds great” emails.
Listening analytics
AudioReview shows you who played the file, how far they listened, and when — per listener, per version. You'll know before you follow up whether they've heard it at all. Highnote shows overall play counts, but not per-user listening data.
